Senior Pastor - Mike Stadelmayer
Pastor Mike Stadelmayer became part of the Mio
Church of God family on March 17, 2003 with his wife, Carol, and their
three children, Tim, Shari and Kristi.
Mike graduated with an Economics and Government degree from Anderson University in 1982. He began a career, not in ministry, but in sales. His career took him from coast to coast, and eventually he became the National Sales and Marketing Manager for a company in the greater Detroit area. Mike felt called to leave the business world and enter into the ministry in 1993.
Pastor Mike says, “My passion is to make God’s Word and God’s principles applicable to our everyday lives. I believe that God wants to help us live a life of abundance and joy, not poverty and drudgery. He wants to be involved in our everyday life, to help us through the difficult times, to encourage us in the discouraging times, and to lift our level of living way beyond our natural capabilities. I see a great future here at the Mio Church of God because we have great people committed to the cause of Christ and committed to helping people meet Jesus in a real and tangible way.
It is exciting to see so many new faces and new people making connections with God and each other. The building of our Family Life Center is opening more opportunities to minister to the young families and people of Oscoda County. This is an exciting time to be a part of the church and we are believing God to do something significant in our lives and in the lives of others. Come and see what God is doing and what He might want to do in your life as well."
